Hello!

My name is Anna, and I am a Senior System Designer with over 15 years of experience shipping consumer products.  Born and raised in Seattle Washington, I have a BA in Graphic Design from Western Washington University with a concentration in Interactive Design.  I love all forms of art, design, photography, illustration, sculpture, and computer science.  When I’m not working, I love rowing crew, swimming, baking tasty treats, and traveling to neat places.

I currently work as the design system lead for Alexa enable devices within Amazon’s Devices and Services Experience Design Group. Here I oversee the creation of our Figma libraries across multiple device endpoints, empowering designers across different features, and work with engineering to build scalable solutions.

I started out at Amazon as production designer in 2013 and did front end development for Fire Tablets. Shortly thereafter, I got the opportunity to work as a 3D modeler for the Fire Phone. When the Fire Phone ended, I took ownership of all production for Echo Show v1, and Echo Spot.

I started out at Microsoft as a front-end developer working on Xbox 360. My technical abilities and attention to detail allowed me to own design integration for Zune 2.0 through Zune HD.  After Zune ended, I transitioned back to Xbox and helped launch Xbox Kinect.
